Dr Varad Kumar

Dr Varad Kumar graduated from The University of Sydney and then trained and worked at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (1997 – 2002), Prince of Wales Hospital (2003 – 2005), and
Justice Health NSW (2005 – 2007). Varad has seen outpatients at Evesham Consulting Rooms and admitted patients to Ramsay Clinic Cremorne since 2008. Varad also works part
time as a senior staff specialist in homeless health, at the Mission Australia Centre in Surry Hills (2022 – current).

Varad is a Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Sydney (2013 –current) and has taught and examined medical students since 1997.

Varad is a psychiatrist whose interests include general adult psychiatry, with a focus on mood disorders (depression and bipolar disorder), anxiety disorders and post-traumatic
stress disorder.
